Day 1 - Departure from Australia / Arrive Taiwan

Mar 02 (Wed) - Departure from Australia, flying with China Airlines' CI52 22:10,

Day 2 - Arrive Taipei Intl Airport / Taipei City

Mar 03 (Thur) Arrival at Taipei (Taoyuan) International Airport at approx 04:40PM, you will be met by your friendly Taiwan Holidays & Travels Tour Guide who will transfer you to your hotel where you will spend one night. You will be able to use the free time to explore the vibrant night life of Taipei, e.g. Taipei 101 Building, Night Markets... etc.

Day 3 - Taipei (B/L/D)

Mar 04 (Fri) - After breakfast, you will be meet at hotel lobby to proceed the Taipei city sightseeing, inclusinf: CHiang Kai Shek Memorial Hall, Martyrs' Shrine, Chinese Temple, and the national Palace Musuem. At the end of the tour, the Taiwanese Handicraft centre will be visited. In the afternoon, we will visi an Orchid Garden in Taipei City.

Day 4 - Taipei / Taichung (B/L/D)

Mar 05 (Sat) - After breakfast at the hotel, we will drive to Taichung, the origina of many kind of special Taiwanese cuisines in Taiwan. Visit Jingming 1st Street which is lined with cozt cafe, exotic restaurants and boutiques. During a visit to an Orchid Farm you will see how the orchids are cultivated for commercial purposes and the large numbers of orchid varieties produced to fulfil the need of clients.

Day 5 - Taichung / Tainan (B/L/D)

Mar 06 (Sun) - Today, you will visit Tainan City, the ancient capital of Taiwan. Situated on the southwestern coastal plains of the island and enjoys a warm climate all year round. It is the island's oldest and now fourth largest city. With its long history, Tainan is rich in historical sites and cultural heritage. We will take you to visit the Taiwan International Orchid  Festival. Each year, Tainan hosts an Orchid Festival in March - April and visitors from all parts of the globe travel here. Taiwan supplies over 50% of the world's orchids and more than 80% of Butterfly Orchids imported in the USA are from Taiwan. We will be attending the Opening Ceremony of the Orchid Exposition at Taiwan Orchid Plantation.

Day 6 - Tainan City Tour (B/L/D)

Mar 07 (Mon) - have the opportunity to choose if you want to revisit Taiwan International Orchid Festival or join with tour guide for the Tainan City Tour. Tainan is the ancient city of Taiwan, which is full of cultural and heritage sites, some of the sightseeings include: Koxinga Shrine, Chihkan Lou and Chimei Museum, Anping Fort, Eternal Fortress (Yi Tzai Golden Castle).

Day 7 - Taitung / Taipei (B/L/X)

Mar 08 (Tue) - After brekfast, return to Taipei City to visit the private garden in which the residence of Chiang Kai Shek stands. You will have the opportunity to visit Taiwan's largest night market - ShihLin Night Market, you will be amazed at the bargains you will be able to find.

Day 7 - Taipei (B/X/D)

Mar 9 (Wed): After breakfast, you will be taking to Taoyuan Garden valley. Tonight enjoy a dumpling dinner at Ding Tai Fong Restaurant.

Day 8 - Taipei / Yangmingshan National Park / Taipei City Tour (B/L/X)

Mar 10 (Thur): After breakfast, you will visit Yangmingshan National Park. Enjoy the walk and beauty of the scenery. At noon travel to Tien lai Hot Spring Resort for a hot spring bath (Towels are supllied, please remember to bring your swimming costume), followed by afternoon tea at the 5 star resort. In the late afternoon, visit the Dianshuei Old Street and night market. Learn the art of snacking at the many little restaurants athat are so much part of the market scene and history.

Day 9 - Taipei (B/X/X)

Mar 10 (Fri): After breakfast, you will have leisure time to explore the vibrant city of Taipei. Taipei is a shopholic's heaven. You can find all sorts of bargain to all the world famous brands at one shopping district. You can catch the MRT to many parts of the city, e,g. Ximending, Xingyi Shopping District, East Chungxiao Area for shopping. See some suggestions by click here. About 7PM in the evening, you will be transferred to the Taipei International Airport for flight back to Australia at 23:55PM.

Day 10 - Arrive Australia

Mar 11 (Sat): The flight will arrive Sydney approximately at 11:05AM.
